The call has gone out for Mockingjay crew

Things are heating up for the Mockingjay movies. Georgia Film, Music, and Digital Entertainment has put out a call for people who would like to be part of the crew to send in your resume.

This follows hot on the heels of a casting call for extras.

If you think you would like to apply to be part of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay then head to their Facebook page and make sure you send your resume to mockingjayresume@gmail.com.

Willow Shields to appear at the Tampa Comic Con

Willow Shields, who plays Primrose Everdeen in The Hunger Games movies will be taking part at this year’s Tampa Bay Comic Con.

She’s one of the big drawcards along with Maisie Williams who plays Ayra Stark in Game of Thrones as well as Lauren Cohan who is Maggie Greene in the zombie series, The Walking Dead.

The convention takes place from August 23 to 25 at the Tampa Convention Center. Willow is scheduled to appear on Saturday and Sunday.

The Hunger Games trailer soundtrack takes out a top award

The musical piece created for The Hunger Games theatrical trailer has received a Music and Sound award (MAS)

The composition, called Beyond Fire was written and produced by Tying Tiffany and Lorenzo Montanà (TTL or ThorughTheLens)

New Catching Fire Barbies coming this October

Mattel is working on some new Barbie dolls for the Catching Fire movie. The word from Doll Genie is that they’re being modelled on the Capitol Couture portraits and will include Katniss in her wedding dress, Peeta in his wedding suite, Gale and Finnick Odair.

Here’s what they say about the planned Katniss Barbie.

Description: The 2013 Hunger Games Catching Fire KATNISS Barbie #X8251 will be released in October. Official Mattel images of the exact doll are not available but we are hoping that she will replicate this image. As soon as we have more details we will post them for you! Casting Call for Extras for the Mockingjay Movies

If you ever dreamed of being in The Hunger Games movies, you might just have your chance. It looks like they’re getting ready to start casting the Mockingjay movies. The call has gone out for extras in Atlanta, Georgia.

CL Casting has posted some information saying:

“We have an upcoming feature that requires amazing faces and bodies, and we are looking for people that can bring unusual characters to life.

Last time for this ‘science fiction trilogy turned film series,’ we had you put yourself on tape but because this one is vastly important, we are requiring we meet each of you in person. If chosen, please know this will be a long shoot, requiring multiple days.

Due to the detailed nature of this film, we are casting this project in stages. This round we are ONLY requesting those to submit between the ages of 18-40. We are sorry, but no children and no one over 40 at this time! (Those submission dates will be released at a later time).

If you are interested in submitting for this project, please e-mail CLCEccentric@gmail.com. Please include 3 pictures (head and body), your age, height, weight, and all contact info. Please put your gender, ethnicity and age in the subject box. Example: Male, Caucasian, 31.”

Capitol Couture has relaunched ahead of the release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

You may remember that it was fist released in January last year, a couple of months before The Hunger Games came out, and became known as the best soucre out there for Capitol fashion and cluture.
