Official Catching Fire Casting Page
Along with the official announcement earlier today that Philip Seymour Hoffman has been cast as the Head Gamemaker Plultarch Heavensbee in Catching Fire, they also launched a news Casting Page for The Hunger Games sequel.
Hopefully the other slots will start filling up real soon, with most of us super eager to find out who will be playing Finnick Odair and Johanna Mason along with some of other characters we all grew to love in Catching Fire, including Mags, Wiress and Beetee and those we didn’t love quite so much as well!

paul wesley as finnick? anyone? or ian somerhalder? i think so and everyone knows that the salvatore brothers are the hottest pieces out their no doubt, i mean come on, both of them just exude the entirety that is finnick odair
I wouldn’t like Betty White as Mags because she’s too well known and she’d be too.. comical for the role, I think. D:
I think that either Ross Lynch or Benjamin Stone should play Finnick Odair because they are both HOT as HELL!!!

Not sure about this casting of Sam Claflin for Finnick. He’s definitely not what I pictured in my mind based on the book’s description. Maybe make-up and a trainer can change what I see in his pics now – I was just kind of thinking more of a buffed up Jake Abel…he’s just kind of who I thought of when reading the book. LOVE the other casting though – Phillip S.H. – PERFECT for Plutarch…Mags…good job. Like actors for Beetee, Wiress and Johanna too. Just not convinced they’re on the mark with Sam Claflin. And they sure better hope they are cause Hunger Games fans (and particularly Finnick fans) are way more rabid than Twilight fans.
Does any one else think Tony Shaloub should play beetee?? I think he would be perfect!
